Distance Learning Program

The Mother Goose Schools has been actively working on our distance learning plans given the suspension of in-person education. Distance learning will be offered and the plans for each classroom / level  will soon be available.

Montessori education, more than most approaches to education, heavily depends on the learning environment and the Montessori materials in the classroom. Therefore, the education that our teachers stand ready to deliver online seeks to be in congruence with Montessori principles while recognizing the challenges this presents in the home environment. The teachers have been working to identify activities in which the children can engage should they be confined to their homes for short- or long-term periods. On a day-to-day basis, all students in our school will receive learning activities in which they may engage.

"Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass. It's about learning how to dance in the rain."

Vivian Greene

The Mother Goose Program has always prided itself on non-reliance upon technology, but in these changing times we are ready to adapt and be flexible in how we can deliver our Distance Learning Program (DLP). We continue to keep pace with best practices through our school recognition from the Department of Education (DepEd) and affiliation with the American Montessori Society (AMS). These organizations are in hyper-drive, supporting all of the independent schools. Our engagement with these organizations continues to provide insight that helps us anticipate the evolving COVID-19 landscape and establish our unique path.

We are excited about the solutions we’ve created to meet this new challenge and can’t wait to share them with you!
